Adam filmed a few segments for Audio Builders TV. A collaboration between Audio Builders Workshop & Concord Carlisle High School.
The goal was to demonstrate different ways of approaching the use of effects. Many current pedal builders have introduced unique features, expanding the typical effect archetypes, offering ways of controlling parameters beyond the control knobs. Allowing users to manipulate sounds with playing intensity, expression pedals, blue tooth controllers, mobile apps or even a wave of the hand.
He also looks at some of the black sheep of the effects family, ring modulator & bit crusher.
Audio Builders Workshop is a New England based organization serving those interested in music production products. Hosting lectures, this web series and other events, they are great resource for professionals and the d.i.y. enthusiast.
